This Refund Policy outlines our procedures for refunds, returns, and replacements. By placing an order with FormsKirns, you agree to the terms of this policy.

Refund Eligibility

We accept refund requests under the following circumstances:

Quality Issues

If any produce arrives damaged, spoiled, or otherwise not meeting our quality standards, you may be eligible for a refund or replacement. Examples include:

  • Severely bruised or damaged fruits or vegetables
  • Moldy or rotting produce
  • Produce that is significantly past its prime

Delivery Issues

You may be eligible for a refund if:

  • Your order was not delivered within the scheduled delivery window
  • Your order was delivered to the wrong address (despite correct address information being provided)
  • Items were missing from your order

Subscription Cancellations

For subscription cancellations:

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard
  • Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before your next scheduled delivery to avoid being charged
  • We do not offer refunds for cancellations made less than 48 hours before scheduled delivery, as your order will already be in preparation

Refund Process

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

  1. Document the Issue: Take clear photos of any quality issues with your produce. This helps us improve our quality control processes.
  2. Contact Customer Service: Submit your refund request within 24 hours of delivery through one of these methods:

  3. Provide Details: Include your order number, description of the issue, and photos (if applicable).

Refund Options

When a refund is approved, you can choose from the following options:

Full or Partial Refund

Depending on the nature of the issue, we may offer:

  • A full refund for your entire order
  • A partial refund for specific items that did not meet quality standards
  • Refunds will be processed to your original payment method

Account Credit

As an alternative to a direct refund, we can add credit to your FormsKirns account, which will be automatically applied to your next order. Account credits may include:

  • 100% of the value of the affected items
  • In some cases, we may offer a bonus credit amount as a goodwill gesture

Replacement Delivery

For certain issues, we may offer to:

  • Deliver replacement items with your next scheduled delivery
  • Arrange a special delivery of replacement items (for significant issues)

Refund Timeline

Once a refund is approved:

  • Credit/Debit Card Refunds: Will be processed within 3-5 business days. The funds may take an additional 2-10 business days to appear in your account, depending on your financial institution.
  • Account Credits: Will be applied to your account immediately upon approval.

Exceptions and Special Circumstances

Natural Variations in Produce

Please note that as we deal with natural, farm-fresh products:

  • Size, shape, and color variations are normal and not grounds for refunds
  • Seasonal variations in taste and appearance are to be expected
  • Minor blemishes that do not affect the edibility or freshness of the produce are normal

Substitutions

Occasionally, we may need to substitute items due to availability issues:

  • We always substitute with items of equal or greater value
  • If you're unhappy with a substitution, please contact customer service
  • To avoid substitutions, you can mark items as "do not substitute" in your account preferences

Gift Subscriptions

For gift subscriptions:

  • Refunds for quality or delivery issues will be issued to the gift purchaser
  • Early cancellation refunds for multi-week gift subscriptions are provided at our discretion

  • Photos of affected items (if applicable)
